This product is a practical corner desk with many advantages. The desk is particularly flexible due to the fact that it can be mounted on either side. Storage space can be found in the open container as well as behind the two doors and the drawers directly under the worktop - handy for all your things! Couple of suggestions, firstly: in the manual it misses off a slight detail which would have been helpful for assemble when putting the back of the cupboard/storage part together. Secondly an extra self would be nice as an option. The desk looks sold and it fits where I wanted it perfectly. Delivery people were helpful to move it from our front door to the desired room. This is a great desk for the price…. As long as you can manage realistic expectations. It took me around two hours to build solo… it’s pretty straightforward and all of the holes are pre-drilled so it’s easy to line it all up. The wood looks pretty, as long as you don’t look too closely, because then you can see the scuffs. At the end of the day, it’s cheap veneered wood and that’s reflected in the price… but it does the job and looks to be a higher spec quality than it is. The instructions are mostly easy to follow, but there is an error around parts 4 on the drawer section and it took me a while to work out why it didn’t fit. As a consequence, the back didn’t line up properly… it’s not a dealbreaker, but it was a time suck and frustrating. All in all, I would recommend this desk. This computer desk is engineered to accommodate most modern systems with the emphasis on rigidity essential for daily use. The open back allowing sufficient breathing space and well-thought-out cable management eliminates wire trapping. The slide-out keyboard shelf measures are 79cm wide and 43cm deep ensuring ample room for both keyboard and mouse and the smooth action metal runners feature a locking position avoiding unwanted movement. A further two fully adjustable slide-out shelves (measuring 54cm W x 43cm D) feature eight height settings to accommodate various printer and scanner combinations. The sturdy hutch features one fixed shelf for strength and two adjustable shelves with nine height settings. These two pieces can easily be connected. Made from furniture quality MFC which is resistant to hot cups and scratches. The top is 2.5cm thick with a 4cm overhang to rear for clearance of plugs etc. All other panels are 1.8cm thick, including the important back panel which ensures added strength and rigidity. Available in several attractive finishes with each piece being hand-finished to a high standard. Your furniture will arrive as two fully assembled pieces.
