This is a great chair! Very comfortable and sturdy. Looks just like the pics. The only reasons it’s not getting a 5 star is because there’s these random two wholes drilled in the middle of it on the bottom for no reason. It’s like they made a mistake or it’s meant for a swivel version or something. But since you can’t see it, it doesn’t bother me much. The other thing is the total height. The dims say it’s 28” high total. That’s incorrect. Where the ARMS lay is 28” but the entire height of chair from the back to the floor is actually 30” high. That mattered to me because I was looking to be able to completely tuck it under my secretary desk. But that can only happen at 28” high. Which is the reason why I bought this chair after searching for so long. But, in the end.. I actually love it so much and most of it slides under the desk anyway expect for a few inches out the back.. It doesn’t look as bad as I thought it would in my space. Still tucked in plenty enough. These chairs are a very sustainable option manufactured with the re-afforested mahogany framework and covered in an attractive natural Kubu grey wicker making them extremely robust and stable. Although a very sturdy chair this does not take away from the elegant appearance of the Riva with its supportive curved back that hugs you either side and comfortable feather-like cushion. Each chair comes with a cushion in either natural or black linen which is zip removable.
