This TV stand is just what I needed but then why did I assign it only 4 stars? The product looks solid and works very well as TV stand and storage item, a key point missing, considering this is sold as TV stand, is lack of cable management feature. How does one get the cables sorted for TV accessories like DVD players etc ? The stand , however, does fit into my orangery and has massive storage space. Assembling the product took over an hour. We have redesigned our living room and needed a TV HiFi unit that has room for our big AV receiver, Sky box etc and this just looked very stylish. It fits all our needs however the one jiggly bit is that it doesn’t have any holes in the rear for the cables. The TV board " Mcclean " consists of four open compartments with two shelves and two side compartments. The carcass (top and bottom shelf, middle shelf, and sides). Storage space in 6 open compartments. The two side compartments are located behind the right and left panels. They are ideal for storing Blu-Rays, DVDs, or even TV magazines and books. So that receivers, televisions, and game consoles can be connected without any problems, a rear panel has been completely omitted. The lack of a back panel also ensures that game consoles receive enough ventilation and do not run unnecessarily hot, as would be the case in a closed TV board. How about a little more light? The mouldings have rounded edges and are available in matt, high gloss or with a natural grain. The natural realistic surfaces in the colours Avola anthracite and rough-sawn oak have a fine relief structure. TV cabinet with monitor extension In combination with the TV extension, the ordinary TV shelf becomes the even more elegant On TV shelf. The monitor extension can easily be placed on top of the TV cabinet, creating two more practical hi-fi compartments underneath the MDF top of the extension. In addition, the screen now sits enthroned on an attachment that perfectly matches the colour of the decorative trims. If the top unit is positioned in the centre, the top panel protrudes 2.5 cm beyond the TV board on both the left and right. This is intended to protect children and pets, as the edges of the top MDF panel are slightly rounded. This prevents the smaller inhabitants of the house from injuring themselves on the chipboard edges of the carcase. The best thing about the top unit is its flexibility: it does not need to be screwed down or fixed in any other way and can therefore be fitted, moved or removed again in no time at all.

Not happy at all. The top literally just sits on the board. Doesn't get screwed, glued at all. Unsafe to use! Instructions were not the easiest ones to follow. Positives - I really love this entertainment unit & how it looks, it’s got great potential and we got there in terms of set up but were a little disappointed with a couple of things. 1. Cosmetic damage to a door and a shelf which means we are waiting on replacements - frustrating. 2. Quality of the LED light terminal and foot switch not very good & the look and feel cheapen the whole unit. Build would have been easier with better instructions but I am sure one we have the right replacement parts and can decorate as we wish, we will come to love this entertainment unit as a key part of our home. .
