Solid Wood Daybeds With Mattress

Treat your guests, the Buxton bed has a beautifully crafted framework that conceals a trundle bed for extra sleeping space. The pull-out trundle features castors for ease of use and can be used in either the flat or upright position. Sprung slatted bases give natural bounce, adjusting to where most pressure is exerted and providing greater comfort. The maximum mattress height to be used for this frame and trundle is 160 mm. The maximum load baring for the Buxton bed is 120kg. Please note: Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress.

These mattresses (I got 2) are perfect for my new day bed. The one on the trundle is a little bit too big now that it’s been out of the packaging for a couple of days but still works, I just have to squeeze it down a bit to pull it out but I’d rather my guests have a comfier sleep than go for a thinner mattress.. If you’re a fan of the country farmhouse look, this wooden day bed is for you! The day bed takes its design from the classic shaker style wooden bed frames and turned into a modern-day bed design. Daybed looks like a sofa with its front design and armrests which serve as a large seating area for the daytime. The size fits a standard UK single mattress, and so the sofa transforms into a bed when you’re ready to sleep! The option of a fold-away trundle bed is ideal for guests and offers an additional sleeping space that is kept out of the way by being stored underneath the daybed when not in use. The clever design of the daybed means it is also great for spare rooms, offices, and guest rooms ready for when people come to stay.

Very fiddly to put together, had a missing bolt, but was provided fairly quickly. Looks good, just does not feel very strong. Susan. Stansted, GB. Thu Dec 09 2021
