This is surprisingly good for the price. Sturdy desk, good design, high quality surface finish even though it's fake wood, easy assembly. I was worried about hitting my shins on the shelf below the desk surface, but the desk has enough depth for that not to be much of a problem. The only somewhat unfortunate feature that I found is that the shelf happens to be at a height where it covers up wall sockets that at the typical UK height. This is a sturdy piece of furniture and fits our needs perfectly since my husband has continued to work from home. However, I would have liked the Tower piece to have the option of a shelf and for the separate pieces to be absolutely flush next to each.
