Quirky and very pretty. However, the top part had a narrow crack half way the width of the chest, which indicates that the quality of the wood does not reflect the price. Also, one of the corner joints was slightly damaged. It came from Germany, but as it was super wrapped and had great protection, I do not think the damage happen during transit. I feel the quality of the wood was the problem. A friend is going to repair the top and the damaged joint because I do not want to wait weeks for a replacement. I gave four stars for the quirkiness and it is what I was looking for. I also received 35% discount from Wayfair and as always the service was excellent.. Maria. London, GB. Fri Feb 10 2023
