The large worktop can be folded down gently thanks to two high-pressure dampers. Behind the door are a practical laptop compartment and a storage shelf. Side pockets, which are also suitable for a PC, and shelves behind the worktop expand the storage space of the Haefner.

Really like this desk. It does indeed take 2 people and a few hours to assemble, but it is cleverly designed to fit in a small space. If possible it'd be rated 4.5 because additional materials to bracket it to the wall are not included. I mean apologies for an already cluttered desk, it was for my teenage son. This desk is very sturdy and easy to put together (an older brother 17 did it). He needed a desk for more room, gaming and study and this desk provides it all. The only downside is that the base unit from his PC was too long to fit on the shelf (bottom right). I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the drawers aren’t very smooth, which could be difficult for our children to use and because there’s nothing on the bottom of the legs, it’s just bare wood. A nice piece of furniture and reasonably easy to put together. I wanted to be able to shut the computer out of site when not in use and this has allowed me to do just that. I contacted Wayfair to confirm that my Mac would fit, they took the time to measure for me and I cannot fault how helpful they were, thank you. Value for money I think it is rather over priced at its full cost but with the 25 off it takes the sting out of it and to be honest I hadn’t been able to find anything else that I liked or that could accommodate the Mac.. It's okay. drawer runners not very smooth. Top is a strange print with printed screws that aren't noticeable in the pictures. fixings are good though but drawer materials are very cheap feeling and thin. It didn't help that box arrived mostly torn and parts where damaged with parts clearly made damaged as well. Weyfair where very good and had no issues with sending out a replacement.. Anonymous.
