Bought to go under a kitchen table, they do sort of stack but not quite as neatly as I'd imagined (not sure you could stack more than two). This product is delivered fully assembled. All dimensions are approximations as the product has been handmade using 100 percent solid beech wood. The lightly applied varnish offers the best protection and makes the product easy to clean. The height can be adjusted by turning the seat.
