The bed arrived fast and all parts were nicely and neatly packed. Nothing was missing and the manual was clear. I managed to assemble this bed alone, but of course, it is easier if you have an additional help. The slabs under the mattress could be made from a firm wood. Tellls you somewhere in description but you have to look for it. Unfortunately we didn’t see till after and are in process of exchanging the standard single mattress that we had ordered. Appalling quality. Countless splits in the wood. No edges have been sanded so lots of splinters while assembling. Took me (a qualified carpenter) over 4 hours to get together. Also to top it off there were some screw holes missing and some that don't line up. Also pretty much all of the joints don't tighten up nicely. Honestly, the worse thing I’ve had to build. None of the screws were separated or labelled, neither was the wood panels so you had to sit and measure the size difference for the screws that looked the same. When building, the small panels that go around the sides of the bed just kept falling off even though they’ve been drilled in.
