Poor quality for the money you pay. Multiple panels covered in scuffs, dirty marks, some sort of filler residue and bodged edges. One plastic plug didnt have any internal thread and was a nightmare to get out and replace causing damage. Another didnt align properly so the screw couldnt be fitted. The sliding door handles in main picture are not what you get, instead you get some blotchy silver metal ones as pictured in the instruction images which detract from the overall look. Appalling quality. Countless splits in the wood. No edges have been sanded so lots of splinters while assembling. Took me (a qualified carpenter) over 4 hours to get together. Also to top it off there were some screw holes missing and some that don't line up. Also pretty much all of the joints don't tighten up nicely. White Matt, Double (4'6)

Happy with the finished product although construction is not for the faint-hearted. It says it requires three people to assemble it however I managed 95% of it on my own and with a bit of planning, a second person is useful when it comes to manouvering the two halves around the room. I managed to construct the double bed version entirely in a room which is only 13ft by 8ft. The hardest part is following the instructions, they are not particularly clear in places and the "magnified" bits could do with being 2x larger. One step is particularly baffling where it expects you to screw a large nut in at either side but doesn't explain that you do it from the opposite side (well I did anyway because it was impossible to do it any other way). Some of the wooden holes didn't line up perfectly with the metal frame so I had to enlarge them slightly with a drill. Also some of the screws are already screwed into the pieces rather than being in the bags so you can be hunting around for things which are hiding in plain sight. Once constructed and in place the bed feels solid, the mechanism works well, in fact the springs are so powerful that until you get the bed flat it feels like it would catapult shut if you get go of it! The straps which hold the mattress in place seem like a bit of an afterthought, there are no pre-drilled holes to fix them in place and you just basically screw them to the wood, it'd look nicer using steel screw cup washers.. This stylish guest bed comes complete with the underbed trundle, which simply pulls out and raises to the height of the main bed. A mattress depth of no more than 17cm is recommended for the under bed. The trundle bed comes with small wheels for ease of movement when sliding under the bed.

If no star was an option i wouldhave chosen. DO NOT BUY! Very bad insructions to put together but we had already opened it and started building so could not return. Also my husband is quite the handy man so was able to do other with his tools over a couple of days. Not like the usual flat pack furniture where holes etc are already made, and quite flimsey… worried about the weight of mattress. also will only fit a small single mattress. Tellls you somewhere in description but you have to look for it. Unfortunately we didn’t see till after and are in process of exchanging the standard single mattress that we had ordered.
