Appalling quality. Countless splits in the wood. No edges have been sanded so lots of splinters while assembling. Took me (a qualified carpenter) over 4 hours to get together. Also to top it off there were some screw holes missing and some that don't line up. Also pretty much all of the joints don't tighten up nicely. Also my husband is quite the handy man so was able to do other with his tools over a couple of days. Not like the usual flat pack furniture where holes etc are already made, and quite flimsey… worried about the weight of mattress. also will only fit a small single mattress. Tellls you somewhere in description but you have to look for it. Unfortunately we didn’t see till after and are in process of exchanging the standard single mattress that we had ordered. I am deeply disappointed with this bed. The picture depicts the headboard and footboard in the opposite position when it is assembled. I ordered the bed with the expectation the headboard was on the left and the footboard is on the right, when in actually fact the the opposite. Due to limited space we are not able to use the bed with the head and footboard the way it is assembled. And the ends are not interchangeable. This noble, white lacquered single bed is characterized by solid workmanship and elegant design. High stability and outstanding durability - thanks to solid wood.
