These chairs are very well made and sturdy as well as being attractive. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the packaging. Although they had brown paper wrapped around the legs there was a big nick out of a leg on each chair. It was down to the metal on each. Luckily I purchased the black chairs so I could fill in the gaps with a black permanent marker and it is not too noticeable. I would have exchanged the chairs but I needed them right away
