Rowlinson Little Lodge Playhouse

What a disappointment. Wood over door split, due to poor design and packaging, on arrival. Decided to glue this to avoid delay of return but what a mistake! Have the people who designed this ever tried to fit it together using their own instructions. Impossible to use the drill needed for pilot holes - unless you’re supposed to use a child size drill!! X-ray vision necessary to find batons when fitting floor and roof. Window frames to narrow to fit to body of house and door too tight to open/close. Final insult, having struggled to put the house together, the roof felt had been folded so was completely split and not fit for purpose. Complaint submitted

This is a fantastic little playhouse which actually ended up being bigger than we had originally thought, hard to visualise from the photos. It only took an hour to build with all included parts and instruction book very easy to follow. Our 2yo son loves playing in there and we have another baby on the way in August, so we can see both of them playing in there together in the next few years.

Lovely playhouse, daughter was delighted. looks good build quality made in about 3 hours with the help of a 7 year old.

Delivery came 11 days late, and on 2 separate days, meaning my son didnt have a present to wake up to on his birthday. The delivery driver threw the packages down and the corners were damaged when opened. I wish I had checked when I noticed him do this! In regards to the playhouse itself, it is really nice and my son loves it! Quite fiddly to put together, the magnetic catch didnt fit right on ours so I have had to buy a different one, also Im possible to close the door from the inside so I have bought another handle to put in there. Note, the instructions say that this needs to rest on batons that arent provided, I read reviews first luckily so had them ready. The fancy little pieces that go on each end of the roof were missing from our playhouse so weve had to make do without. I am glad we chose this one, despite the messing about weve had to do to get it up and finished.

Looks brilliant. Our granddaughter is going to love it!!
