I gave it a four because some of the stickers came crumbled up and it comes with a cell phone but no place to put it. Overall it’s super cute and took about an hour and a half to put together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three kids with my oldest being 10 and my youngest being two. They love to play together! I was able to put this cottage together by myself within 20 minutes. The instructions are very easy and clear to read every step of the way. All the pieces are very nice quality and hold up very well outside in the sun and rain! Inside the cottage is a seat so my toddler can pretend to be cooking by the sink and and can grill just out side the window. The is a window on the opposite side with shutters that open and close. The door also open and closes. There is a small phone that is just stickers included that makes the cottage even more homey. The doorbell works when batteries are installed. All three of my kids have spent hours playing together with the cottage and using their imaginations together. This was very easy to put together and is great for outdoor use no matter where you live! I highly recommend this cottage for any young child for indoor or outdoor use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 4.5 year old girl and two year old twin boys. When first assembled, it seemed much smaller than I would want for outside. However, as it sits in my living room, I'm not offended by its size. The kids don't stay inside the house the whole time they're playing with it. It's pretty bare-bones- no loose accessories to handle except for the phone. I'm not even sure there's a niche for it. Well, all three just love the thing. Fournado spent hours with her dad playing with it, using toys we already have. They all love the loud doorbell. The two year olds spent their time opening and closing the doors and shutters. In hindsight, I don't need or want extra accessory toys. It would be more to clean up. The kids are finding uses for the toys that had been passed over, forgotten in piles of clutter. As for assembly, I'd appreciate something less labor-intensive, but it's a plastic toy. It's easy, but time-consuming. It'd probably end up costing more if holes were pre-drilled. Overall, the kiddos are happy with it. It's only been a few days that they've had it, so I can't tell if it's something they'll appreciate for a couple more years. What I can tell is that it's a toy that inspires imagination and modeling. Once it moves outside (it's been raining non-stop since delivery) it'll be easy to hose down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Neat and Tidy Cottage in the Homestyle Edition in gray. It didnt take us long putting it together. Few places where screws go in were awkward to do but we got it done within 40 mins. Boys kept bugging us wanting it to be done so they could play in it. They loved that the door bell rang after putting in 2 AA batteries. Its nice size and very sturdy. Wasnt sure where to put the phone so we decided to bring in house when not playing so it dont lose it. The kids had so much fun playing and pretending. I like that it is weather resistant and heavy enough to not blow over. The holes are not pre drilled but with force they go in really well. The directions were easy to understand. Its about 45 inches tall and 51 inches wide by 35 inches. Has 1 set of shutters that work, door, mailbox, flower planter, sink, grill, chair, doorbell and fireplace. Super cute and will give so much fun to kiddos.

We chose to keep it inside and its a great addition to our play area. Since its made of hard plastic installation is straightforward but would be much easier with power tools. It comes in neutral color and has a working shutters and dutch style front door. It has a kitchenette area with seat and play phone comes with it. The fun part is that it has a working doorbell and drop off mail in the pass through mailbox. Everyday my kids play in the cottage and they love playing in it. This is a great house for kids pretend play within a house.
