The delivery service was great although the driver didn't ring half an hour before he arrived. It was delivered at 7:30am on the expected delivery date, the driver was helpful & friendly and drove the truck round to the back gate to make the drop off. The playhouse is lovely now it's built, although it did take a full day to build it. It is made from high grade, FSC approved, Northern European pine shiplap boards and the joinery made, opening windows and half glazed door are all mortice and tenon jointed. The walls are shiplap boards over 34 mm square framing. It complies with BS EN 71, the safety standard and carries the CE mark. The door has a full-length safety hinge and it is glazed with acrylic. It is finished in a honey brown basecoat treatment ready for you to paint or stain on installation. The roof is OSB and the floor is T&G. The painted model shown is for illustration only. Before you assemble your building, you will need a base which is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building.
