Bought 3 sets to replace existing garden dining chairs that have served us well for 15 years. The Peony chairs as not as robust as the ones being replaced (but what is these days) though were considered to be acceptable quality for the price paid with the added benefit that they were already pre-assembled unlike chairs available from others at a similar cost. Delivery arrived before the estimated delivery date even though they were coming from Germany; the products were well packaged in heavy duty cardboard boxes with no damage during transit. The quality and finish of the chairs is good and there are no issues with poor quality finishing or staining as sone reviewers have reported. Hopefully these Peony chairs will give many years of good service. One slight irritation was that two weeks after we bought the the chairs the price was reduced by £30 per set. John. Buckinghamshire. The chairs are foldable and can be stowed away easily without taking up too much space. The eucalyptus wood used for the construction of this set does not need to be revarnished but should be treated with caring oil from time to time.
