The cushions are splash resistant so if you spill a drink on the cushion you can firmly pat the underside of the cushion to encourage the droplets to roll off and avoid them soaking in. Our Shelles outdoor rattan dining table and sofa set is the perfect way to add some relaxed informal garden seating to your outdoor space. This is going to look great on a deck or patio, in a conservatory or pergola. With a whopping 9 seats to fill, and an intimate seating arrangement around the square table, this set lends itself to friends, family and good times. The PE rattan is stylishly woven over sturdy but lightweight steel frame. The polywood tabletop has a wood-grain effect, is sturdy and durable but lightweight and easy to keep clean. All the cushions are deep-filled - 8cm thick for the seat cushions and 6cm for the back cushions - so you can hang out in style and comfort! The PE rattan, polywood and the cushions are all UV resistant so shouldn't fade. The frames are weather resistant and the cushions are splash proof (so if any spills occur, pick up the cushion and give it a firm pat on the underside to encourage the droplets to roll off). However, the cushions should not be left outside or in damp conditions. Store them somewhere warm and dry. If they do get wet then allow them to fully dry in the sun or somewhere warm before you store them. This set includes a free water-resistant cover but please note, this is not fully waterproof and you should still store your cushions somewhere dry during wet weather and through winter. This is a great garden set, it is easy to put up if you follow the instructions. Put all the bolts in probably 20%, to make is easier then you can jiggle the seats so all go in. Tighten up and done. I build it on my own and it took an hour, probably would have been easier with another to hold the big seats while I put bolts in. Looks amazing in my garden, very happy.. Keith. Midlands.
