Ordered for my 6y old, he fits really well with a bit of extra room as he grows. Charging time is good and the battery lasted a good 30-40mins of continuous use. The start up sounds are a great addition, speakers are pretty good for the size of car. Speaking menu is heavily Asian and hard to understand but enough to get the jist. Car goes about 14mph on running track surface and goes well on grass but imagine the battery juice would get sucked up. But decent speed for the age and getting used to it. The slow start is a great idea so it doesn’t jolt and panic him, steady increase of speed is perfect. Brakes and lights are really good two. Would’ve been 5* if its wasn’t for the audio and very poorly laid out instructions. Takes a good 45 mins to build. Daniel Ferragamo. Kent. Tue Feb 17 2026

This is such a well observed “toy” car. It looks so like a real mini, and is very sturdy for the price. I love the opening doors, the headlights, the way the on off button looks like a real ignition switch and the charger plugging in at the fuel cap. The remote control is great - but note that your toddler can still turn the wheel, overriding what the remote does. The drive wheel does need a flat surface so a couple of lumpy patches on my lawn did cause slight problems (wheel spinning). My only gripe is that the battery charging doesn’t cut off automatically so you’re supposed to ensure you don’t charge for more than 6 hours, and for me the car charger light has never changed from red to green to show when fully charged (as I’d expected from the instructions). It took about an hour to put together and it is important to follow the order in the instructions, which are ok rather than perfect. Overall, it’s incredibly good value and a firm favourite of granddaughter. .. Sussexandy99. Sun Jul 26 2026
