Was easy enough to put up and looks really good! The only complaint was there was three large scratches on the metal which I’ve have to get a spray to fix! The marks where under packaging so guessing as tightly pack go scratched then! Did contemplate returning but after building it and it near 2 weeks later than originally advised I just kept it. Sarah. Turned out nice. Had this professionally installed and mounted the post in concrete blocks to give more stability. The metal pieces itself is lightweight aluminum but when connected together it’s sturdy. Only gripe are the shade connector poles. Their means of connecting could be improved because they slide off & disconnect from one another every now & then but so far holds up well with rain when shade is pulled back. Haven’t experienced any serious windy conditions yet to speak on so we’ll see. So far overall all good.. Bryant. Miami, FL. Thu Jun 01 2023

A brilliant addition to the garden — really impressed ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We've been looking for something to define our seating area in the garden without taking over the whole space, and this pergola is absolutely perfect. The 3m x 3m footprint is generous enough to feel like a proper outdoor room, but the 2.27m height keeps it proportionate rather than imposing — it really does make smart use of the space. Assembly was straightforward with two people. The instructions are clear and all the fixings were accounted for — we had it up without any drama in a couple of hours. Having a second pair of hands definitely helps when aligning the frame, but nothing about the process was difficult. The aluminium build feels genuinely solid and well-finished. It doesn't have any of the wobble you sometimes get with cheaper garden structures, and the powder-coated finish looks smart and clean. We're very happy with how it looks — it's given the whole area a much more pulled-together feel. For the price, this is exceptional value. You'd expect to pay considerably more for this level of quality and appearance. Highly recommended.. Claire. Gravesend, GB. Wed Mar 18 2026

Canopy has only been setup for about two weeks at this point… needed extra hands to hold parts up during construction but family is always game. Box was a bit beat up in shipping, actually ended up missing several parts but customer service was super awesome and walked me through what I needed. We were only delayed a week to be made whole again. Great job Wayfair. I do recommend if you are going to ship such heavy items with so many parts, maybe more sturdy cardboard or perhaps ship multiple smaller boxes to prevent the order arriving like a wrapped mummy. Still, thank you customer service and love the shade!. Candice. Lititz, PA. Tue May 30 2023

Overall it’s great, but I would suggest that when you come to put the canopy on, DON’T just go over the top and attach it, we did that, slightest breeze it would be up and away, if you go over the main bar as instructed, then under the second bar, then over the middle bar, then under the third bar, ending by going I’ve the main bar, it really reduces the lift, also the bars that come into contact with the canvas make sure the screw heads are on the under or over side to stop wear n tear! It sounds complicated and long winded, but it’s really not and does make a difference! Apart from that it’s a great pergola!. Jules. Norfolk. Tue May 13 2025

I wouldn't buy this very poor, fully broken after 4 days, the wind wripped all the material and for the price its shocking I accepted a partial refund of 55% when I called on the 2nd day, 2 days later its fully ruined. Anonymous. Fri Jun 05 2026

Spend time with your family and friends outside even during hot summer days, and provide yourself with an awning over your garden lounging or dining set. The robust pergola is made of durable, powder-coated steel that guarantees stable construction and a UV-resistant sliding canopy that can be moved from one side to another. What is more, if you will switch on the solar panel and wait until dusk comes, the LED lights will automatically illuminate the space.
