An impressive garden bench in a classic British design made of solid, black lacquered cast iron. A stylish lion head decorates the left and right sides of the bench. The decking is made out of twelve sturdy, mahogany-coloured hardwood boards, which are easy to maintain. Cast iron exists in various levels of quality, which is measured by the density of the processed cast iron. The lesser the density, the lighter and wobblier is the product and the easier it can break. This bench offers a level of very high density and is therefore very sturdy and robust. The cast iron can be re-painted from time to time with metal paint. The wood should be treated with a commercially available coating, depending on the use and site of installation. The bench will be delivered in a carton and needs to be assembled. All fittings and instructions are included in the delivery and assembly will only take a couple of minutes.

Stylish garden bench OXFORD made of weatherproof cast aluminum, gray antique. This decorative bench is made of weatherproof cast aluminum. In contrast to furniture made of cast iron, it is completely rustproof and therefore suitable for outdoor use without restriction. The bench is painted in an elegant gray (antique look) and is a gem for any garden - either as a comfortable seat or simply as a tasteful decorative element. Dimensions: Width: 105cm; Seat width: 95cm; Depth: 42cm; Seat height: 42cm; Total height: 84cm; Ergonomically shaped seat and backrest feature an elegant cross pattern. The bench is very solid and stable, but at the same time relatively light and easy to transport due to the use of cast aluminum.

Very pleased with this. I looked at several other (cheaper) ones which had a 'distressed' or verdigris finish or green that looked matt and were also deeper, back to front, than this one, though a bit cheaper. It didn't say in the description but the finish looked glossy in the pictures, which is what I wanted - and it was. It matches my greenhouse and the colour of my shed. Just what I wanted.. Rosemary. Wood is green in a lot of places so clearly been stored in a damp place before delivery. Most of the screws were rusty too. You’re stuffed if you don’t have a drill because no holes are pre drilled so you have to drill the holes to fix it together. To be fair I suppose once finally finished then it’s nice too look at and comfortable to sit on. Will need to be painted at some point I think though. Was delivered within a few days.. Helena.
