Brown Dakota Fields Garden Dining Chairs

Eucalyptus is one of the most robust wood types, with properties similar to teak. This furniture does not require any special care and is weatherproof. It is advised to use standard caring oil for solid wood in order to keep the original colour as long as possible. Otherwise, the furniture may take on a grey tone over time, which is preferred by some people. For extra comfort, the chairs' backrests can be adjusted to eight different positions and can be folded when not in use so they do not take up too much storage space. The set is being delivered fully mounted.

Bought 3 sets to replace existing garden dining chairs that have served us well for 15 years. The Peony chairs as not as robust as the ones being replaced (but what is these days) though were considered to be acceptable quality for the price paid with the added benefit that they were already pre-assembled unlike chairs available from others at a similar cost. Delivery arrived before the estimated delivery date even though they were coming from Germany; the products were well packaged in heavy duty cardboard boxes with no damage during transit. The quality and finish of the chairs is good and there are no issues with poor quality finishing or staining as sone reviewers have reported. Hopefully these Peony chairs will give many years of good service. One slight irritation was that two weeks after we bought the the chairs the price was reduced by £30 per set. John. Buckinghamshire. This super little chair is a great addition to any bistro table and can even go with bigger dining tables, the seat and back are made of synthetic weave, and the metalwork is finished in black.

Chunky and traditional in look, high in oil content, able to withstand daily use. All joints mortise and tenon secured with dowels. Made from grade a teak which appears as a warm honey colour and will over time will turn a silver grey. Grade a teak is slightly oily to touch as it is very dense and rich in protective oils, naturally resistant to the elements and extremely long lasting.

This side chair has a reinforcing corner insert at a pivotal point for strength and stability. When left outside teak will fade to a silvery grey colour if left untreated. This is perfectly natural and does not affect the structure of the product.

The high-quality pine wood is chamber-dried before processing to avoid rough outlines due to moisture and to ensure maximum strength and stability of the furniture. An open-pore glaze is used for surface treatment. If after-treatment is required at a later stage (depending on weather conditions), it can be done with any outdoor suitable wood protection glaze. The chair is constructed from 35mm thick pine wood and therefore very sturdy, withstands high loads and usable in the outdoors. After delivery the chair will need to be assembled, which only will take a couple of minutes. The parts of the seat and back are already pre-assembled and need to be screwed together. Detailed assembly instructions, as well as all parts, are included in the delivery.
