This pergola was an experience to assemble. The instructions leave a lot to be desired. Also the unit is 10x10, BUT ONLY AT THE TOP. The base measurement from the center of each support to the next is only 97.83", not 10x12' or 120". In my case it worked out, but if you have to fit it over an area consider getting a 12x12, which would have worked fine for me. I also checked the interior dimensions in the description on Wayfair, and they were only of the top not the bottom. I believe that information should be changed. The unit itself, once assembled is beautiful, but you do need two people for assembly, especially if you can't drill into the concrete. The legs must be stable to attach the top units to them!! We did that job by laying them on the lawn, then putting them in concrete blocks, as you can see by the photo. Trying to do it while up is folly, unless you have four people holding up the cross bars while you screw in the bolts!! On YT it shows a guy assembling on the ground, smart! We have been using this for 2 years now. So this is a long term review. Assembly wasn't too difficult and my wife and I were able to do it without more help. Overall the quality is good and the paint has oxidized somewhat and there are some small rust spots but overall great. The shade is also good quality and very heavy duty. We're in Florida so I have to clean and pressure wash it every 6 months or so but it comes up pretty nice. Turned out nice. Had this professionally installed and mounted the post in concrete blocks to give more stability. The metal pieces itself is lightweight aluminum but when connected together it’s sturdy. Only gripe are the shade connector poles. Their means of connecting could be improved because they slide off & disconnect from one another every now & then but so far holds up well with rain when shade is pulled back. The pergola turned out great. Only a few minor manufacturing errors in one of the connection points, but we were able to work around it. Also, the plastic rings connecting the two leg parts were difficult to make work at first. There was no issue with these specific parts. I love this pergola. It looks beautiful and fits our small patio perfectly. We live in WA in an area without much wind. We put each leg in a resin planter filled with 50lbs of rocks. We did have an unexpected storm a week after it was built with 30mph winds and there was zero movement. Impressive! We will take the cover off in the fall to preserve it since the small cover is not very tight and rain does pool but it isn’t that difficult to knock the rain off with a broom handle. Bioclimatic pergola 100% aluminum - with crank available in various sizes and colours.

The pergola was overall easy to assemble. It was just tedious with to many bolts, probably took about 5 hours total. Would take less with 2 people. 2 people are definitely needed to assemble. The pergola is super sturdy and well made. We bolted it right on to the deck. It rained last night so I can say it prevents water from leaking through the top which is a nice addition to our deck. 1010 recommend for the price and convenience. Canopy has only been setup for about two weeks at this point… needed extra hands to hold parts up during construction but family is always game. Box was a bit beat up in shipping, actually ended up missing several parts but customer service was super awesome and walked me through what I needed. We were only delayed a week to be made whole again. Great job Wayfair. I do recommend if you are going to ship such heavy items with so many parts, maybe more sturdy cardboard or perhaps ship multiple smaller boxes to prevent the order arriving like a wrapped mummy.
