A good looking and very sturdy piece of garden furniture. As others have described, it can be a little awkward to assemble, but I did it on my own (4 hours) closely following the clear instructions. I found, as others found, the bolt through the seats to be most challenging. Needed to fabricate the 13mm socket with a piece of foam inside to stop the nut from going in too far, then I could bolt together, first without washer as bolt is short until seated, undo, add washer and bolt up again. Yes, I then needed a second person for turning it upright as it is too heavy to lift by one person once assembled! This picnic table is made from FSC slow-growing pine, with rounded edges, and pressure treated with Tanalith E. The product is delivered flat-packed for easy self-assembly. It is constructed with extra thick 32 mm timbers for strength and durability. The product can easily withstand heavy daily usage. Please note: This item has been dip treated to prevent fungal attacks and rotting which may mean a light green tinge can be seen on your bench or picnic table. Over time the green tinge will quickly disappear and you will be left with a natural pine-coloured bench.

An easy access walk-in design commercial-grade picnic table. A simple design with a natural finish. This Melton Mowbray Wooden Picnic Bench is solid and sturdy and is easy to assemble. Timber is a natural product and will expand and contract with changing climatic conditions which may lead to slight cracking. This is perfectly normal and does not affect the longevity or structural strength of the product.

This heavy-duty round picnic table is perfect for any commercial or heavy usage setting. It is a sturdy and significant piece of garden furniture. The wood is pressure-treated with Tanalith E to help prevent rotting and decay. Pressure-treating forces the treatment deeper into the wood so the timbers have a much longer lifespan than ordinary treatments. The timbers are also patterned with anti-warp grooves so there will be no buckling or warping due to temperature changes. Natural splitting and cracking may occur but will not affect the lifetime or structure of the product.

It wasn't too hard to put together though the diagrams in the instructions could have been more accurately drawn. It took 2 of us a good while to assemble due to the pre-drilled holes not all being accurate enough. It also needs to be turned over at least once to put it together and it's heavy so you will need some extra pairs of hands. Once assembled it is sturdy and looks good. A couple of minor design faults where small 'holes' are open to the weather may mean the water gets in over a period of time. We filled them and stained it in the hope it'll last a fair while. I am very disappointed with this product. I don't feel it is fit for purpose as the planking is very thin, only 2cm and soft wood. For the seating there is no way you could have three people seated without the seating breaking. One person of 70kg sat in the middle of the bench, part of it broke off and the slats nearly snapped, it is meant to be a 6 seater table. I feel it was very expensive for a table that I think is of a very poor quality. Wayfair claims to sell quality products at good prices and I feel that this is totally the opposite. Susan. Fairly easy to assemble, even though the instructions are minimal. A power drill is useful as a few of the holes were a bit off, so we re drilled our own.
