Pots are made from Scandinavian Redwood and it is treated in an oil based preservative. All pots come assembled except raised beds where you need to fix legs. Your pots are supplied with one coat of the 'Taylor Brown' oil based preservative. To help protect and extend the life of your planter we strongly recommend for you to apply another coat every 6-12 months. Wood is a natural product and may expand and retract depending on the weather conditions therefore we can not be held responsible for cracking, splitting, warping and shrinkage as this is a natural occurrence, because of this it may be necessary to check the tightness of the bolts/screws. Resin is occasionally present in the timber and is no detriment, should this appear simply wipe with a cloth/white spirit.

I assemble the planter by myself. it would have been better if additional person was available to hold the pieces together, however I was able to manage it with little or no. I was able to ensure that the screws were tightened and prevent any loosening of them when I fill it with dirt. I love the aesthetics of it, and it does appear to be, very durable and able to sustain rain or other damages. There is enough space for your own small herb garden on the 3 levels. The beds can also be used for various types of lettuce. Due to the inner width of 100cm each, there is enough space for several plants per bed. The slats attached to the side ensure that the raised bed is stable. The individual planters are reinforced with a bar in the middle. The raised bed is made entirely of pre -glazed larch wood. When the summer months are over, hardy herbs can also be planted in the bed. The larch wood is suitable for year -round use. For a final treatment, the bed must either be painted with a colorless glaze or another weatherproof paint to ensure permanent protection against moisture. Please note that this is a natural product. I love these outdoor planters! First off, there are a two in the box. I like that these can be used on opposite sides of an entryway because these will allow balance with the overall look of any outdoorlandscap design. I have not actually put plants to grow on the lattice yet because the weather just started getting colder in my region. Another plus to these are that they have the caster wheels on the bottom, so each are easy to move around. The wheels also have a locking brace to keep them from rolling or moving.
