This gas BBQ plancha has four 2.5kw stainless steel burners with piezo ignition, an enamelled steel cooking plate with a huge cooking area and a removable grease tray. Each of the gas burners can be controlled independently, allowing you to create different heat zones for cooking a variety of ingredients simultaneously. Simple to use and versatile, this plancha also provides a healthy way to cook as the food is seared with grease draining away into a removable grease tray. The trolley can easily be detached. It provides a sturdy platform and plenty of storage, with a large shelf and two side tables, together with a comfortable working height. Two wheels on one side allow the trolley to be manoeuvred with ease. The plancha can be used with either propane or butane, although we recommend propane as it burns hotter which is better for cooking.

I cannot review this product yet because we've not yet been able to try it out, despite receiving it more than a month ago. First, we were given a delivery date that came and went...and when I called about it, learned there had been an error and it had never been dispatched. Second, when it did arrive it was slightly damaged (bent in several places with paint scraped off) and it was a beast to assemble with very unclear instructions in several places. Finally and most frustratingly, we thought we were purchasing a grill that could be connected to a natural gas line, which we had run outside to a patio after a major kitchen renovation. It took a while to get a plumber to come to do this. When he arrived he said this was not the right sort of grill to connect to the natural gas line to and that we needed to purchase propane tanks for it. This came as a shock given the way Wayfair describes this grill. It specifically claims to be a NG grill and makes zero mention of requiring propane tanks anywhere in the product specs. And, because it was such a beast to assemble, we are not inclined to deal with returning it and trying to find a "natural gas grill" that would be compatible with the NG line we have available. Despite poor descriptions and inadequate packing, we are planning to keep this grill for now to avoid further delays to our ability to enjoy grilling THIS summer. But we probably won't make further purchases from Wayfair as we have lost faith in the company over this one. Hopefully it will prove to be a good purchase in the end.. Anonymous. Mon Jul 10 2023

This barbecue also features a built-in bottle opener, 4 hooks to hang utensils and accessories, a warming rack and a spice rack. Excess fat is collected in a tray underneath the barbecue and can easily be disposed of from there. Thanks to the smooth castors with locking breaks, it's also quick to put the barbecue away and bring it back out for the next occasion!
