Pixie Family Outdoor Garden Statue! Bring some wonder into your home with this fantastic pixie by Anthony Fisher. What are Pixies? Pixies are mythical creatures of folklore, considered to be particularly concentrated in the high moorland areas around Devon and Cornwall, suggesting some Celtic origin for the belief and name. Akin to the Irish and Scottish Aos Sí, pixies are believed to inhabit ancient underground ancestor sites such as stone circles, barrows, dolmens, ringforts,s or menhirs. In traditional regional lore, pixies are generally benign, mischievous, short of stature, and attractively childlike; they are fond of dancing and gather outdoors in huge numbers to dance or sometimes wrestle, through the night. In modern times they are usually depicted with pointed ears, and often wearing a green outfit and pointed hat, although traditional stories describe them wearing dirty ragged bundles of rags which they happily discard for gifts of new clothes. Sometimes their eyes are described as being pointed upwards at the temple ends. These, however, are Victorian-era conventions and not part of the older mythology.

What a sweet family I love this I feel love when I look at them.. Maya. Southsea, GB. Fri May 31 2024

Do you believe in magic? Create some of your very own along a garden path with this enchanted residence for local fairies, tiny pixies, colourful gnomes and woodland nymphs! Build a wondrous village with one (or more!) of these two-story exclusive fairy houses, sculpted with delightful woodland details cast in quality designer resin and hand-painted right down to the door sign that lets the tiny forest creatures know it's time to move in. Welcome to the neighbourhood!

This is attractive and rustic, but I've only given it four stars because it is actually a bird box with a string coming out of the roof to hang it up. No window on front and sides, only cut outs. A reviewer mentions gnomes etc, but nothing else comes with this house, despite the photo and misleading product description suggesting otherwise.. Grant. Highcliffe Christchurch, GB. Fri Jun 29 2018

I love this fairy. She is larger than other fairies I have seen and is easy to see in my fairy garden. I like her dreamy expression and her lithe lines. I added various tones of blue beading to her head and wrists for a touch of color and magic.. Vixen14. Denver, Co, USA. Tue Apr 25 2023

Poised and ready, striking their most whimsical pose these young Ron are preparing to take a selfie together! We think these wonderful Ron make superb gifts. Made from resin, they are suitable for indoor or outdoor use but are fragile so be careful. The painted copper wings add a sense of art deco vintage class to the figurines. Overall, they're sweet and beautiful to behold and we think you or your friends and family will love them.

These represent my great grandson and my great grand daughter in the fairy garden, beautiful.. Maya. Southsea, GB. Fri Sep 20 2024
