Folding Solid Wood Garden Dining Chairs

Eucalyptus is one of the most robust wood types, with properties similar to teak. This furniture does not require any special care and is weatherproof. It is advised to use standard caring oil for solid wood in order to keep the original colour as long as possible. Otherwise, the furniture may take on a grey tone over time, which is preferred by some people. For extra comfort, the chairs' backrests can be adjusted to eight different positions and can be folded when not in use so they do not take up too much storage space. The set is being delivered fully mounted.

Bought 3 sets to replace existing garden dining chairs that have served us well for 15 years. The Peony chairs as not as robust as the ones being replaced (but what is these days) though were considered to be acceptable quality for the price paid with the added benefit that they were already pre-assembled unlike chairs available from others at a similar cost. Delivery arrived before the estimated delivery date even though they were coming from Germany; the products were well packaged in heavy duty cardboard boxes with no damage during transit. The quality and finish of the chairs is good and there are no issues with poor quality finishing or staining as sone reviewers have reported. Hopefully these Peony chairs will give many years of good service. One slight irritation was that two weeks after we bought the the chairs the price was reduced by £30 per set. John. Buckinghamshire. Decent construction, nice chairs (obviously not exactly the same as the AI sales images!). Both of the chairs I ordered had minor issues, but nothing a bit of wood glue cant remedy. These chairs are foldable for easy stowing (during winter) and transport. The frame is made of robust flat steel and has a back powder coat, while the slats are made from teak. Teak is one of the most robust wood types and is easy to clean and maintain. It does not need to be revarnished but should be treated with caring oil from time to time. The metal feet have plastic caps to prevent scratches on sensitive floors.
