The set is being delivered fully mounted.

Bought 3 sets to replace existing garden dining chairs that have served us well for 15 years. The Peony chairs as not as robust as the ones being replaced (but what is these days) though were considered to be acceptable quality for the price paid with the added benefit that they were already pre-assembled unlike chairs available from others at a similar cost. Delivery arrived before the estimated delivery date even though they were coming from Germany; the products were well packaged in heavy duty cardboard boxes with no damage during transit. The quality and finish of the chairs is good and there are no issues with poor quality finishing or staining as sone reviewers have reported. Regretfully due to poor packaging one arrived with substantial crack damage to one arm probably due to a combination of this poor packaging and courier mishandling. The carrier (Yodel) had actually put some of their packing tape on ther carton. I noticed on an earlier review that a customer had received the similar set with damage. I tried to report the damage to Yodel and found this to be a nightmare due to there being no clear way of identifying which number they required to identify the package.
