This parasol base is a water-fillable base which is an easy solution for supporting Jenifer cantilever parasols. Just fill with water to make a stable 100 kg base unit. Drain plug in the side for draining. Drain in winter to avoid frost damage. Only compatible with Jenifer cantilever parasols.

Rather disappointed with this. The casting seams are not properly finished leaving sharp and rough edges around the holes in the scroll work. The glossy paint finish looks cheap and the paint effect is very poor especially on the steel upright. Having had two of the cheaper concrete bases both of which eventually came loose with no access to the attaching mechanism, I started searching for a better quality product for my free standing parasol. This ticks all the boxes. The bolt that secures the pole holder to the base is accessible from underneath and sturdy. And the two pole screws add extra support.
