Attaching to the bottom of a large seed feeder by means of 4 hanging chains, this plastic tray will catch all the seeds and seed casings that are discarded or dropped as the birds feed. Helping to keep lawns or flowerbeds clear of debris, the tray also acts as a secondary feeding platform for birds. There are 4 small holes at the edge of the base to allow for water drainage. Simply hook the chains to the bottom lip of the feeder of your choosing and this simple yet elegant solution to dropped birdseed mess is ready to go. This hanging bird feeder comes complete with an integral squirrel baffle to try to stop them from getting at the bird food. The feeding tray is positioned underneath the baffle, which in turn is adjustable in its position on the hanging hook. This enables the baffling part to be raised or lowered to get the perfect position to let the birds in but keep the squirrels out. The baffle also provides protection from other predators such as swooping birds of prey and cats, and as it is made of Perspex, it is possible to see the birds feeding through it.
