Jop. Steyr, AT. Fri Nov 25 2022

The bird feeder is simply one of the most attractive and practical bird tables around. It features intricate lattice woodwork in a painted green finish, with a real verdigris copper roof and a natural rope for hanging. Unlike most bird tables which are tricky to clean and become messy, their bird feeder has a clever detachable side panel and re-cycled plastic tray which lifts out for easy cleaning. This also gives access to the inside edges of the bird table so they may be brushed out removing any old food which may harbour bacteria. This allows for excellent standards of bird hygiene to be achieved. The balustrade of latticework and arches around the bird feeder provide a restricted height, safe area for smaller birds to feed. This space limitation prevents access by larger species such as crows, pigeons, magpies, seagulls from the food. It also makes life difficult for predatory sparrow hawks whose habit is to target small birds on open feeder tables.

Beautiful and strongly constructed.. Mrs. Poynton Stockport, GB. Sat Nov 22 2025

The bird feeder is a wall-mounted bird table designed to attract a wide range of small to medium bird species. It has many attractive design features. An initial verdigris coating is applied to the real copper roof to give it an instant aged effect. Further natural patination of the copper will then follow in time. It is natural for some of the initial coatings to flake away, any loose material may be brushed away to allow further natural verdigris to develop. The bird feeder is sealed with a water-based sealant and painted in soft green. To fully maintain its appearance they recommend an annual repaint using exterior water-based varnish or paint to keep the surface sealed.

I am very pleased with the wall mounted bird feeder. It is most unusual and very pretty, also practical with the pull-out tray so I can keep it clean. It has been much admired, but I would say the screws provided were not really long enough, I am using longer ones.. Jessica. Frome, GB. Thu Jul 18 2024

Feeding our beloved garden birds is most important during the winter months when natural food sources do run low, but you can keep your feeder topped up throughout the year to keep the sparrows visiting your garden every season. The bird barn is produced from timber which is harvested from sustainably managed forests. The green plastic board is second-life recycled plastic.

The Archie & Oscar swing seat feeder is perfect for feeding small birds. The swing seat feeder's small scale and the swinging nature make it awkward for larger birds to approach. But little birds can land on the ropes, chair arms and seats. Place food on the seat tray, which you can pop out to enable old birdseed to be easily cleaned away to maintain good bird hygiene. The tray is made from a recycled plastic composite material, textured to look like wood. The swing seat feeder is suspended using its natural hanging rope. It features a robust arm design with hanging ropes knotted on the inside of the armrests. Reminiscent of lazy sunny days, the swing seat feeder makes a charming addition to any wildlife garden.

Squirrels always look like they are enjoying their food - so why not give them a place to enjoy it to the full? This fun squirrel feeder is shaped like a picnic table and comes complete with a mini umbrella. This not only looks cute, but also keeps the rain off the food - and shelters from the sun on a hot day. Ideal not only for squirrels but all sorts of other wildlife including birds, it can be placed on the ground (for ground feeders such as blackbirds) or fixed to a post or wall for other birds or squirrels. Requiring some home assembly, the umbrella can be positioned in 3 different places and works like a real umbrella - it can be put up and down. The table measures 18cm long by 21cm wide (from one bench to the other). It stands 11cm tall without the umbrella attached and 29cm tall when the canopy is attached and open.

The nordic style elevated birdhouse and feeding station is the ideal way to get to know the birds in your garden. The weatherproof and durable station is formed from easily assembled pole sections and with a spiked base pole for easy ground penetration. Two sturdy double brackets connect the poles together, and the unit is completed by the nordic styled finial apex piece. The wooden platform is comfortable for the feathered visitors, while a metal ridge prevents them from accidentally knocking any of the seeds, fat balls, or household leftovers onto the ground. The station is suitable for all types of bird-friendly foods like seeds, nuts, suet cake, and balls of fat. The elevated station provides a safe area for your feathered soon-to-be friends to perch and relax out of harm's way from predators, as well as keeping the tasty treats away from snails, and slugs and even protecting them from squirrels and rodents.

This heavy-duty squirrel feeder is designed to stand up to the demands of squirrel feeding. This strong peanut hopper with lifting lid is a fun way to feed wild squirrels in your garden or woodland area. The squirrels will quickly learn to lift the lid to access the peanuts visible behind the perspex screen. You can help them learn by initially propping open the lid with a stick so they get the technique. The feeder is built to last and is made from naturally durable FSC certified timber from managed woodlands. The lid has a corrosion-resistant hinge to ensure longevity and proper function. The feeder requires no additional stains or chemical treatments. Locate your squirrel feeder well away from any bird feeding areas. Top up the peanuts regularly and dispose of any mouldy peanuts safely as these may contain toxins harmful to other birds and wildlife. Species likely to use the feeder include red squirrels, grey squirrels and pine martins.

The Appenzell bird feeder impresses with its detailed exterior and is a proven classic when it comes to bird feeding. Our novelty Fluffy Tail Cafe squirrel feeder shows that simplicity is key to designing wildlife products that benefit the animals. The robust feeder is made from high quality, naturally durable FSC managed timbers with a strong stainless-steel hinge to resist corrosion and requires very little maintenance. The generous and easy to clean hopper can be filled with peanuts or mixed nuts and has a clear plastic screen for you and the squirrels to see the amount of food remaining. Once the squirrels see the food, they’ll soon figure out how to lift the lid and reach inside. Providing a separate food source for squirrels can take the pressure off your bird feeders and offer you countless hours of joy watching them feast sitting on the red stools of the Fluffy Tail Café. Designed for both grey and red squirrels. Locate well away from any bird feeders on a tree, fence or any sturdy object at the height of roughly 1.5-2m. Preferably in a convenient filling and viewing position to ensure you can watch the squirrels’ antics for maximum entertainment. We recommend regularly topping up and clearing the feeder of any mouldy nuts to reduce the chances of bacteria building up. The best practice is to give the plastic screen and hopper a wipe with a damp cloth whilst you clear and top up. Not normally required. If wood stains are used, they should be water-based to minimise toxicity. Apply light oil to the hinge if necessary. It is natural for the wood to move in damp or varying weather conditions, which is normal.
