Pots are made from Scandinavian Redwood and it is treated in an oil based preservative. All pots come assembled except raised beds where you need to fix legs. Your pots are supplied with one coat of the 'Taylor Brown' oil based preservative. To help protect and extend the life of your planter we strongly recommend for you to apply another coat every 6-12 months. Wood is a natural product and may expand and retract depending on the weather conditions therefore we can not be held responsible for cracking, splitting, warping and shrinkage as this is a natural occurrence, because of this it may be necessary to check the tightness of the bolts/screws. Resin is occasionally present in the timber and is no detriment, should this appear simply wipe with a cloth/white spirit.

I love these outdoor planters! First off, there are a two in the box. I like that these can be used on opposite sides of an entryway because these will allow balance with the overall look of any outdoorlandscap design. I have not actually put plants to grow on the lattice yet because the weather just started getting colder in my region. Another plus to these are that they have the caster wheels on the bottom, so each are easy to move around. The wheels also have a locking brace to keep them from rolling or moving. Description confirms waterholes in bottom but none were present in both of the 2 pots , which were not super cheap . A helpful and understanding customer services guy at Wayfair , when I immediately called ,offered total replacements but as they are so large and I didn’t want that bother , I decided to keep and get holes drilled in situ . I was given a reasonable credit , without quibbling and I got the problem sorted . The extra effort required took a star off my rating .. the customer services guy at Wayfsir deserved the full 5 stars .. Christine. London, GB. Fri Aug 18 2023
