Gates are pressure treated with Tanalised ' E to help preserve and protect the wood against rot and insect infestation. This is safe for humans, animals, and wildlife. Union Rustic Standard Flat Top gate in Feather Edgle Planks, this is a Semi-Braced Gate which is framed top, middle and bottom but is missing the framing down each side which reduces the cost and strength. This is an ideal gate for a less busy pathway. Our gates are made with pressure treated (tanalised) timber. The feather edge boards used on the gate are 125mm wide with a 15mm thick edge. The batons we use to brace the gate are 34mm thick by 70mm wide Smooth Planed Sawn timber. Our gates are nailed using professional nail guns and galvanised nails making them extremely long lasting. All timber used to build this gate are pressure treated and the gate is well manufactured, to ensure that they survive many years to come.
