Really Gorgeous Looking Clock! Love the distressed look, and like a clock face that has roman numerals. A little light weight, but dont distract from the quality. On the downside. A couple of false starts with this clock. The one hand of the clock stuck out away from the face of the clock. Then the clock stopped working. A lovely Advisor at Wayfair resolved this problem. When I purchased this clock, over 2 years ago I was delighted. Unfortunately, it has faded drastically and the front has peeled off the back. The clock is now unusable. I contacted customer service, they informed me that as it was out of the guarantee period they were unable to help. I explained that I would expect an item to lady longer than 2 years, they advised there was nothing they could do and weren’t even interested in viewing the photos. Large (496mm) old Swiss clockmakers's dial, non pendulum. The parchment colour of the dial gives this clock its realistic antique feel.

It’s a good solid and very attractive clock, exactly the size I wanted. One AA Battery and full instructions on changing the time, ( if only I’d had instructions like this with my previous lovely similar clock when the clocks went forward perhaps the hands wouldn’t have fallen off). I purchased this clock to replace a similar one which belonged to my mother and it was about 100 year old but the main spring went. I am happy to say that this clock functions perfectly, in a similar manner to the old one, and was very easy to calibrate against the radio controlled one I have.
