The inset fire is very stylish and slim, so that it fits the space and quiet in operation so just what we wanted. I would have given 5 stars but we did have to wait from ordering on 31st October until delivery on 17th November with no information other than ‘item is delayed’ I telephoned at the end of last week and that seemed to speed up the process. Also there is a scratch on the glass front of the fire, not noticeable unless you get up close. However, I assume the good discount was because the item isn’t perfect and I would have preferred to be told and be given the option to purchase a fire in perfect condition. This fireplace is a modern design with off white MDF mantle and shelf plinth and a toughened mirrored glass front. Due to the LED technology, the fireplace is low cost to run when using the flame and lighting effects – less than £4 per year if used for 5 hours per day. The product comes with a digital LCD display remote control which includes a seven-day programmer, a thermostat with the display, a room-temperature sensor, open window detection, and adaptive start control (turns on the heater to warm the room ready for the programmed start time). The heater automatically switches between 1 and 2kW depending on the room temperature and set the temperature required and can be used with or without the LED lighting. To meet the requirements of eco-design 2018 (Lot 20), this product is designed and manufactured to produce the optimum energy efficiency available for space heaters.

A beautiful fireplace with an amazing life-like flame effect, mood lighting, and an easy-to-use multi-function LCD remote control with an inbuilt thermostat. I put this together by myself and found the instructions easy to follow and managed fine. Looks amazing , my only negative is that there are a couple of small glue marks on a couple of the visible side.
