We've had the Dakota Fields retractable awning (395cm x 250cm) since May 2025 and have been very happy with it. We went with a manual (non-motorized) version as winding it out is fairly straightforwards and not a hassle. For whatever minor inconvenience that comes with that process, it far outweighs the hassle factor that comes with when the motorized unit eventually fails and the hassle that goes with replacement and inability to be used so I haven't regretted that decision—it operates easily and keeps things simple. We had it installed by a local builder, and every winter we keep it fully rolled in to protect it from the weather. As you can see from the image below - a protective shield over the item during prolonger periods of non-use will most likely prevent the bleaching. The only minor issue we've noticed is a small amount of discolouration on the outer edge, which we suspect is from sun bleaching of the section that remains exposed while the awning is rolled up. A protective cover during prolonged periods of non-use would probably help prevent this. Overall, it's been a great purchase and offers excellent value (€279) so I would recommend it to as a buy.. If you do see signs of condensation here are hints to help you to protect the contents of your shed. To prevent condensation inside your shed, wherever possible, do not allow any excess moisture inside the shed. To do this try and ensure all equipment inside the shed such as camping gear or sporting goods are cleaned and dried before storing them in the shed. Try to let as much air inside the shed on cooler, dry days, by opening the shed doors. This will help the air circulation inside the shed and will drop the humidity level inside. Please note the durable material that all Keter sheds are made of will not be affected by moisture or condensation as part of the Keter no maintenance promise.

Take note of the 4x corner panels and the dimensions - the 2 sides are different widths so if you don't get them the correct way round, it won't fit together properly. Excellent service from Wayfair and brilliant product from Keter. This might be a longer review than I'd normally share but I'm hoping it will help someone. You can be the judge! So, my transaction with Wayfair was seemless and the item arrived within a few days, delivered by a courteous team of 3; 1 supervisor and 2 labourers. So, tip number one. Get the guys to lay the box down very close to where you want to assemble the shed. It's a very heavy box at 74kg so, even for two people, they need to be fit and strong and have long arms! The build quality of the Keter Premier Jumbo is really very good. Although the main panels are plastic, these are reinforced with metal bracing channels that contribute to making it a very strong structure. A few things to note that will pay dividends if you follow them. (I learned the hard way!). 1. Make sure that the area that you are going to be building the unit on is perfectly flat and level. Seriously, if it's out by a few millimetres, it could cause you issues in aligning panels etc. You could use slabs for the base but I went for a sand base, cellular grid and pea gravel to fill it up. 5bags of sharp sand and 10bags of gravel. 2. The instructions are completely graphic, are very good, but you do need to pay close attention to the drawings, especially when it comes to alignment of channels on plastic panels. There can be very slight differences in each end of the metalwork, so make sure you know which end is which! 3. It's definitely a two-person assembly for part of the work but a lot can be done by one person. I'd suggest breaking the 42 steps down into 'micro-kits'. In other words, before you start, lay out what's needed for each of the stages, so that you are not having to revisit the box several times. 4. It's easy to overtighten some of the screws that penetrate the plastic panels, if you are using a cordless screwdriver. If you are in doubt, stop before the last few turns and do them with a manual Phillips screwdriver. Once built, the unit is solid and the hydrogas struts that assist in lifting the lid are a classy finish. They make a nice 'swooshing' noise as they lift the lid and are a reassurance that the lid is not is not going to come down on your hand. Finally, I really enjoyed building this unit, along with my wife. Patience is the key. You may have to retrace your steps once or twice but the end result is a snug, watertight container that looks good too! (I've attached some pics to show the sequence and end result.). Mark. Delivered on time but a little disappointed with the colour as slightly darker grey than in the picture. Took me about an hour and a half to put together as one of the holes just slightly off so had to keep loosening other screws around it to eventually get them all in. Once put together looks and feels very sturdy. Please check every part for breaks in the rattan as it was only when I had nearly finished that I noticed a break near one of the screws. Unfortunately it is right on the corner at the front of the box and unable to try and rejoin the pieces as pieces missing but I could not face taking all screws out to return the box so have kept it.
