This Pent shed is a very practical design and manufactured from high grade, slow grown, FSC approved, North European pine overlap cladding boards over sturdy 34mm square framing with OSB roof and floor. With interchangeable fixed, acrylic windows and large single door. Dip treated base coat preservative ready for top coating. All fixings, roof felt and assembly instructions are provided. Before you assemble your building, you will need a base which is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building.

This shed looks great once built, however when delivered some parts were damaged, had white paint and screws in parts that didnt require it, but speaking to wayfair customer service they managed to sort something out for us. Whilst building the shed the small panel was uneven and made the overal roof uneven when putting boards on top but as we decided to change the direction of the roof slant, we managed to cover it with the roof felt which doesnt look so bad, once covered. The shed does require you to put silicone on the windows which you have to purchase seperatly but overall once built looks great, and as a bonus has a key lock for extra protection. I ended up purchasing the 11x7 Poppy greenhouse over the Memorial Day weekend, after reading a multitude of reviews. Based on those reviews I decided to give Backyard Discovery a chance. From delivery to final build I could not have been happier with the experience. As a DIYer, this was in my wheelhouse. What was most impressive was the build instructions, which were complimented by the online 3D app. The inventory list for each box was invaluable in saving time from having to look for the multitude of parts and hardware. To make the build easier, I set up a 6ft table in my garage and placed all of the hardware in plastic containers which were arranged numerically. This preparation will save an enormous amount of time searching for specific hardware. The quality of the cedar was very good, solid, and consistent. Throughout the build, the instructions actually had notes, in red, that were important “lookouts” so as not to make an error with regards to specific part orientation or sequence. As I worked my way through the build, the more impressed I became with the instructions and how I could tell that the folks responsible for the instructions were truly hands-on common sense engineers. My hat off to the company for their efforts in making these projects enjoyable along with providing a wonderful finished product…that appears to last. As with any quality build, if you do not ensure that the pad is level and the sidewalls are not square and level, you will not have an enjoyable experience. We bought this shed about a month ago so we could move everything out of a storage unit and save those monthly fees!
