The packaging was fantastic and instructions were simple to understand. I assembled the dome by myself but found that, unless you have a deep socket you will need a ring spanner or adjustable. I purchased some tube end caps as they are not supplied, I didn’t want little fingers getting into the cavity. The cavity was also filling with rain water and not draining out. Dried and a spray of WD then capped should prolong the life of the nuts and bolts. See photos and it finishes the dome. You will need 25mm caps and I paid £4.18 for 20 but you only need 16. Fast shipping. Building does take time. I’m a contractor and it took me 7 hour to complete alone. The directions were straight forward. It would be a challenge for someone who isn’t mechanically inclined. Furthermore, having your own tools cuts down the installation time, but having the required tools is pretty deep if you’re just a homeowner. I recommend this set. Once completed it looks great. This was exactly what I was looking for some thing that could be used inside and outside. My toddler loves playing with it. The set up was easy but wish the directions were clearly printed. A very popular playhouse for many years, the Pixie continues to be a firm favourite with both children and adults. It is a lovely design with a glazed front and a pretty roof canopy so that it is not an eyesore in your garden! What a gorgeous den! It is made from high-grade, FSC-approved, Northern European pine shiplap boards over sturdy 34mm framing. The joinery made opening windows and glazed doors are all mortice and tenon jointed so are storm resistant. The Pixie complies with BS EN 71 the safety standard and carries the CE mark so features acrylic glazing and a full-length hinge. The playhouse is finished in a honey brown base coat treatment ready for painting or staining after installation. The painted model shown is for illustration only. All fixings, roof felt and assembly instructions are provided. Before you assemble your building, you will need a base that is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil, or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building.

It is made from high grade, FSC approved, Northern European pine shiplap boards and the joinery made, opening windows and half glazed door are all mortice and tenon jointed. The walls are shiplap boards over 34 mm square framing. It complies with BS EN 71, the safety standard and carries the CE mark. The door has a full-length safety hinge and it is glazed with acrylic. It is finished in a honey brown basecoat treatment ready for you to paint or stain on installation. The roof is OSB and the floor is T&G. The painted model shown is for illustration only. Before you assemble your building, you will need a base which is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building.
