These are superb quality tables. The wood is amazing …solid wood with a beautifully smooth finish….really top quality wood. The legs are metal and have a slightly crinkly black coating which is equally as impressive and the kind of thing I’ve seen on motorcycle engine casings…..really nice. The fixing method of the legs (Allen bolts and washers) is excellent. I’ve read the other reviews about these tables not being stable with kids and pets etc. Honestly, if your home is that perilous, then buy something else! Such a beautiful table so easy to assemble. It took me about two a half hours total to build and that was after I messed up with one of the boards by having it the wrong way round. This is a nice coffee table but unfortunately the glass top is not affixed to the base and can be lifted (see photo). Beautiful, sturdy and quality, coffee table. It's quite a decent size. Took between an hour or two to put together as I had installed the inner part which allows the too cover to lift incorrectly. The coffee table is a great idea for modern interiors, where you can rest with a cup of freshly brewed coffee after a day of chores. A big advantage of the coffee table is the storage compartment under the tabletop, in which you can comfortably store useful small items such as cup rests or the TV remote control. The doors open downwards thanks to a modern push-open system. The oak flagstaff and the elegant accents in matt black make the product a successful basis for a modern interior.
