While I noticed a strong, unusual odor upon unboxing that clung to the pieces, the final product feels solid and high-quality. Assembly was a bit of a challenge; the instructions were unclear in sections, and the process took over four hours to complete. Visually, the dresser is beautiful, and its versatile design complements my bedroom decor perfectly. However, there are some functional drawbacks. I wish the six drawers were deeper to accommodate more clothing, and the 'push-to-open' mechanism is inconsistent, often making it a hassle to access my items. Do not buy this sideboard. First of all fitting were missing tried to egt replacemnets from wayfairm pushed from pillar to post and got know where so had to source fitting myself which took over a week. Then we went to assemble and all the pre-drilled holes for the drawers are in the wrong place and do not line up. Without these holes in the correct place can not put drawer runners on. Absolute garbage and I am unable to use. In the middle of requesting a full refund as this unit is not fit for purpose. I have waited over 8 weeks now without a bedroom drawer unit that cost nearly £800 so not cheap. Beware do not buy. I have also bought bedside units to match I am furious of the position I am in should not be allowed to sell items not fit for purpose. As you can see from photo the drawers are not even. Anonymous. When I started constructing this piece of furniture I noted that there were a couple of chips in the veneer. I was unhappy with this but decided I didn't think they were unsightly enough to warrant returning the whole piece of furniture. I complained through Wayfair and Birlea who produce the item responded very quickly and professionally. I discussed with them what I felt a reasonable fair resolution would would be and they agreed immediately without argument. I feel the level of customer service was very good (particularly compared to recent experiences I've had with other furniture retailers such as Sofology), and I would happily buy other products from them in future.
