Designed between 1980 and 1983, this coffee maker began life as an evolution of the “Tea and Coffee Piazza” project, which saw famous architects taking up the challenge of designing a tea and coffee service. It was Rossi's first mass-produced design, and its strongly iconic image earned it immediate success for the then-new Officina Alessi brand, as well as becoming an 1980s design symbol.

Love it!. Humphrey. Braintree, MA. Tue May 26 2020

Make delicious coffee elegantly with this La Cafetière set that includes the Havana 8 Cup Stainless Steel Cafetière and Measuring Spoon with Clip. The double-walled cafetière is elegant and its insulation keeps coffee hot for up to three times longer than standard cafetières. The drink stays hot, but the handle remains cool for easy pouring. Includes a fine mesh filter - and a spare included in the box. Many coffee drinkers are guilty of a couple of things: guessing when measuring out ground coffee, and not resealing up the bag when they're done. But it doesn't have to be this way - not with La Cafetière's 2-in-1 coffee measure and bag clip. This ground coffee measuring spoon has been designed to measure a single serving each time. No need to guess - so your coffee will always be a perfect strength. Reach right down to the bottom of packets or tall jars. It's not a problem. Thanks to this scoop's long handle, none of your grounds have to go to waste. The clip in this spoon's handle will keep packets tightly closed up when you're done too!

Enjoy perfect coffee in style with this set of La Cafetière including a Pisa 8 cup cafetière, a milk frother and a pair of copper coffee mugs. When you send the Pisa's embossed plunger knob down, you get a deliciously smooth brew that's pure in flavour. It features a fine mesh filter which extracts maximum flavour from your coffee grounds. And it also traps them, so they don't reach your cup. Made from high-quality stainless steel, it's long-lasting, rust-resistant and easy to clean. The La Cafetière copper coffee mug set brings something special to coffee (and tea!) Designed to make a statement, they boast an unusual tankard-style shape - consisting of high-quality borosilicate glass sat inside a sturdy copper-effect stainless steel holder. Each features a capacity of 300 ml (0.5 pints, 10 fl oz). The battery-operated handheld milk frother helps you to make barista-style foam - like you'd get from coffee shop lattes, cappuccinos and hot chocolates. You don't need an expensive steam wand to make great milk froth. Just pop this latte whisk's stainless steel rod and coil whisk head into a jug of pre-warmed milk, then hold down the button. Powered by two AAA batteries (not included) with a slimline design, it's compact and portable. So, you can froth wherever you are.

Such good quality and very beautiful. Absolutely love it!. Anonymous. Sat Dec 14 2024

My new pot does not drip. Makes enough espresso for three to four large mugs of cappuccino which I use during the day. It stays fresh till its heated with the milk for the next cup. It makes far superior coffee to the purchased brews from coffee shops and at a much better price. The taste is smooth and not bitter. I even like the metal handle which has not melted or got loose because the flame was too high. This pot is PERFECT! WAY TO GO ALDO! Your my man.. Coffee Addict.. Doylestown Pa Usa. Sun May 30 2010

Not been the best quality but is adequate. I purchased this as a gift for my father who wanted an expresso maker to get 2 good sized mugs of coffee from, which is harder to find than you think! I think giving the price however it’s been a good purchase and does the job.. Claire. Glasgow, GB. Sun Jan 10 2021

The espresso coffee maker Pulcina, designed by Michele de Lucchi is is the product of intense research into the optimisation of the shape of the coffee pot in order to improve and enhance the organoleptic properties of coffee. Thanks to the internal shape of its special heater, Pulcina automatically stops filtering the coffee at the right moment. This interruption helps to eliminate the eruption phase, the final filtering stage that generates a burnt and bitter aftertaste, ensuring that only the finest qualities of the coffee are preserved and enhancing its full-bodied and rounded aroma. The spout is quite pronounced. Its typical 'V' shape, reminiscent of a baby chick’s beak, is specially designed to perfectly cut drops when pouring. Practical and functional, making coffee with the Pulcina is just like making it with a traditional coffee pot.
