So happy with this griddle. It works beautifully on my induction cooktop. It cleans easily, too. I love the easy maintenance of the enamel. I’m not sure why the only picture in the listing is of the bottom of the pan. I’ve included a couple of pictures of how it fits on two smaller burners on my 110cm cooktop.. Julie. Mon Nov 13 2023

As cast iron can reach high heat on a low to medium setting, you can seal your food quickly and lock in the moisture, nutrients, and flavors, producing succulent tasty meals. It is a very healthy way of cooking too as the cooking fat drains away and collects below the ribs. The helper handle sets this Square Grillit® apart from others, for extra ease of use and stability when lifting a full pan. The grill is coated with Le Creuset’s specialist finish. Durable and easy to clean, enamel interior has been specially designed to protect the pan (no seasoning is required) and is ideal for searing and grilling foods such as meat, fish, and vegetables. Over time, it develops a natural patina that is ideal for searing and frying. The Square Grillit® is suitable for use on all hob types, including induction, in the oven, under the grill, and on the barbecue, and is protected by a Lifetime Guarantee for total peace of mind. Only low to medium heat is required when cooking and will achieve the high surface heat required for searing.

This is perhaps my most favorite thing to use in the kitchen at the moment! I got this (and 2 other Le Creuset items - thanks to the extra discount at Wayfair!) 4 days ago, and since then have made the perfect steak (2 inch filet mignon), grilled fish and grilled vegetables while staying indoors, without being afraid to go outside the house to grill and without the fuss of charcoal grilling!!. For the original: Wafer-thin crêpes can be prepared quickly and easily in the cast iron pan with a cast iron handle. The perfect heat distribution on the pan base ensures an even browning of the dough on the entire surface, and the flat rim allows the delicate treats to be safely flipped. The classic for crêpes and thin pancakes is always firmly on the heat source and is easy to handle thanks to the solid wood handle.

This surface is as smooth as it gets and heat is very even from middle to edge. This makes for accurate heating on all areas and cooks the crepe fast and even. Pan is heavy, heavier than you think, so be careful when picking up. However it's the type of pan that will last forever. Pros: Smooth, Even Heating Cons: Heavy. Jake. Murfreesboro, TN. This Griddle is superb. I make lots of griddle scones, & have previously struggled to find a griddle which heats evenly on my ceramic hob. Within an hour of it's arrival I'd made some Welsh Cakes, & they cooked perfectly. You need to do a few test bakes first, to ensure the temperature is correct - I found it kept it's heat even at a very low temperature, which is good. I only lightly greased it with sunflower oil for the first batch of baking, after that it didn't need greasing. The handles stay cool whilst using the hob, & its very easy to clean. Plus, it looks good. And worth every £.. Karen. Nottingham, GB. Wed Feb 28 2018
