I chose this product for its competitive price compared to other similar but more expensive ones. When it arrived, I didn't find the wooden stick inside and I had to buy it by spending more money. This Griddle is superb. I make lots of griddle scones, & have previously struggled to find a griddle which heats evenly on my ceramic hob. Within an hour of it's arrival I'd made some Welsh Cakes, & they cooked perfectly. You need to do a few test bakes first, to ensure the temperature is correct - I found it kept it's heat even at a very low temperature, which is good. I only lightly greased it with sunflower oil for the first batch of baking, after that it didn't need greasing. The handles stay cool whilst using the hob, & its very easy to clean. This surface is as smooth as it gets and heat is very even from middle to edge. This makes for accurate heating on all areas and cooks the crepe fast and even.
