Cracking bit of kit, does exactly what it says on the tin. Really impressed with this sofa bed. Bought it as a compact option for a spare space, and it’s turned out to be a bit of a hidden gem. The click-clack mechanism is smooth and straightforward — no faffing about trying to wrestle it into position. One minute it’s a tidy sofa, next minute it’s a proper bed ready for guests. Ideal for those “oh… you’re staying over?” moments. Comfort-wise, it punches above its weight. The high-density foam gives it decent support whether you’re sat watching telly or stretched out for the night. The adjustable back is a nice touch too — handy for finding that sweet spot when you just want to kick back. Build quality feels solid — the metal frame and wooden legs give it a sturdy feel without being bulky, and it looks smart enough to sit in any room without shouting for attention. Overall happy with the purchase, looks great and is extremely practical for having a n extra bed in a small space. One thing I would be wary of is that it’s quite tricky to assemble and you need to make sure you are able to attach well to a wall (at the very least to the studs). The instructions for assembly aren’t very clear when it comes to installing the mechanisms and springs. Also the delivery wasn’t great - the company delivered later than the expected date and refused to bring the boxes up one flight of stairs in the apartment building. I appreciate the current COVID restrictions, however leaving it in the hallway on the first floor is not much different to leaving it in the hallway on the ground floor w.r.t entering the building. Waited over multiple days for the entire thing to be delivered. 3 separate boxes over 3 separate days so it wasted a lot of my time by not being able to do anything with it until all 3 boxes had arrived. Just save time, energy, and money by making it all as one delivery please! The sofa bed itself is a nice product. Lovely colour, robust material, spacious, and comfy to sit on as a sofa but a little hard to lie on as a bed. It definitely takes 2 people to put it together - and all the fixings were mixed up in the wrongly labelled bags! Luckily we worked it out and managed to put the sofa bed together. Great as a spare bed to use in my sewing room. Unfolds and moves easily, I am elderly so a great advantage as I can prepare the bed without help. Simple to put together but does need help to remove from the box and lifting after the wheels are attached. The bed seems strong but the mattress is rather thin for two people so I put a single duvet on the mattress and then covered with a quilted small double mattress cover before laying the sheet, this all stayed together very well and my two adult guest had a good nights sleep and said they were comfortable.
