The delivery came in quickly and all parts were complete. A little drawback was that the connection fittings between the metal desk base/ legs/ desk top were a bit tricky that needed extra force to join them together, apart from that the assembling work was easy and finished product looked good.. This desk organiser is similar in style to the decor that would have been found in the Captains' cabins of 19th-century sailing ships, which were designed as havens for concentration on the vital matters of navigation and meteorology. In contrast to the spartan, cramped conditions experienced by the crew, these cabins were fitted out in beautifully finished mahogany or camphor wood. Inspired by the smaller pieces such as writing desks and chart cases, this has been made from solid (not plywood) polished Sheesham wood with chunky brass corners and other fittings. Has one compartment for A5 portrait and three smaller for envelopes, pens, pencils etc. Also has drawer beneath. Overall measurement 8x6x5". Has an engraving plate for personalisation of up to four initials (£8).

My daughter loves her new bed. It’s a great way to make use of the vertical space we have. The instructions were easy to follow and all the pieces were included and clearly marked. The desk is level with the edge of the bed which allows for storage to be added behind the desk and under the bed. This is will mean that our daughter can use the bed for longer as she won’t be hitting her head when she stands up from the desk.
