Received this light fixture very quickly and I am getting ready to install it tomorrow (October 2nd) but the fixture came in a very slim package but it was well covered as you can see in the pictures. The hardware package was open and screws and washers came falling out after I opened the box, so be aware of this possibility and open the box in an open area to prevent loss of items. The light does come with a remote but does not come with batteries so be aware of that. Takes 2 AAA batteries.  *Note I will provide an updated review once I install to review the instructions and the ease of the installation. Thanks for reading! The mechanism for raising / lowering the height is simple and effective and easy to level our rose is on an angle in a vaulted cealing. There are a number of sizes we have a very large extension but went with the smallest as we cut out some cardboard mock ups beforehand to judge the impact and size something I would recommend. The size and measurement dimensions are good. Packaging is good. Installation was tricky, with each of the individual light shards needing to be inserted. It's not obvious from the pictures, but the LED light is only on the bottom, not on the top, and that's worth considering if you have a large room. The light glass shards need to be installed one by one, so it's very difficult to get them straight, so up close the it's uneven.
