I have to say that the door is a lot smaller than I had imagined it would be, and there is no fittings supplied if you are looking to attach it to anything. Against a plat area is fine, and you could use some silicon to hold it in place, but as I decided to have mine outside, I rigged up a sticky backed hook at the back, and a wire across the bottom held by 2 screws that I attached to the tree that I placed it against.
