I was able to choose the delivery date which was convenient. I received a confirmation email followed by a reminder before the delivery date. The day before I received notice of the time for the 3 hour slot. On the day I was contacted by the driver to say he would be there in half an hour and he was. We paid to have it delivered to a room and all that happened as expected. My husband unpacked it and it was assembled within half an hour. I was nervous because I had never bought from Wayfair before. I bought the chaise because I have sciatica and I need to lay flat to relieve the pain. I was a bit concerned that this chaise was much cheaper than many others and that it might be a bit fragile or the fabric might be an odd colour but honestly it is really stable, it looks really good and the seat is supportive yet comfy. Appalling quality. Countless splits in the wood. No edges have been sanded so lots of splinters while assembling. Took me (a qualified carpenter) over 4 hours to get together. Also to top it off there were some screw holes missing and some that don't line up. Also pretty much all of the joints don't tighten up nicely. The bed arrived fast and all parts were nicely and neatly packed. Nothing was missing and the manual was clear. I managed to assemble this bed alone, but of course, it is easier if you have an additional help. The slabs under the mattress could be made from a firm wood. This versatile wooden day bed can be used as a bed in your bedroom and also fits perfectly as a sofa in your living room.

Honestly, the worse thing I’ve had to build. None of the screws were separated or labelled, neither was the wood panels so you had to sit and measure the size difference for the screws that looked the same. When building, the small panels that go around the sides of the bed just kept falling off even though they’ve been drilled in. I couldn’t even put the screws in that attached the panels together because they kept spinning and not tightening. Would not recommend this to anyone.. Amanda. Silkstone Barnsley, GB.
