Pretty easy to build all things considered. Loved the cedar scent in my garage as I pre-assembled several aspects. Ultimately, I would recommend building with a square handy as there are some parts that require “freehanding”. Two complaints is deck boards of the fort could use a little bit more support, and the design to get to the window underneath is a little tough. Have to crawl under something to get in.. The packaging was fantastic and instructions were simple to understand. I assembled the dome by myself but found that, unless you have a deep socket you will need a ring spanner or adjustable. I purchased some tube end caps as they are not supplied, I didn’t want little fingers getting into the cavity. The cavity was also filling with rain water and not draining out. Dried and a spray of WD then capped should prolong the life of the nuts and bolts. See photos and it finishes the dome. You will need 25mm caps and I paid £4.18 for 20 but you only need 16. Fast shipping. Building does take time. I’m a contractor and it took me 7 hour to complete alone. The directions were straight forward. It would be a challenge for someone who isn’t mechanically inclined. Furthermore, having your own tools cuts down the installation time, but having the required tools is pretty deep if you’re just a homeowner. I recommend this set. Once completed it looks great. This is the perfect sized at home play structure for our two year old. It took two men about 3.5 hours to assemble. It is sturdy and I feel comfortable with my toddler playing on it.
