An impressive garden bench in a classic British design made of solid, black lacquered cast iron. A stylish lion head decorates the left and right sides of the bench. The decking is made out of twelve sturdy, mahogany-coloured hardwood boards, which are easy to maintain. Cast iron exists in various levels of quality, which is measured by the density of the processed cast iron. The lesser the density, the lighter and wobblier is the product and the easier it can break. This bench offers a level of very high density and is therefore very sturdy and robust. The cast iron can be re-painted from time to time with metal paint. The wood should be treated with a commercially available coating, depending on the use and site of installation. The bench will be delivered in a carton and needs to be assembled. All fittings and instructions are included in the delivery and assembly will only take a couple of minutes.

Ordering was easy. Delivery came quickly. Assembly was very difficult. I couldn’t understand the instructions about which screws to use for the different steps. I ordered this and recieved a Charles bently swing. It's not the sturdiest swing and despite all bolts being tight moves from side to side. The canapy fittings will not last 5 mins cheap plastic. The canapy bars don't stay together. The seat had two saggy bits where people have sat and we've only used for a couple of days. I would not sit 3 people on it. The seat cushion is thin the bar digs into your thighs. My last swing was in my garden nearly 11 yrs and only got rid because two seats went. Think I will be lucky if this lasts 2.. Maureen.
